Wednesday, January 2, 2013 - This is a seriously fine Howell Mountain zinfandel! Full bodied semi-transparent clarity with dark purple hue. Spice box aroma with bramble and vanilla edges. Smooth on the palate with tastes of cherry, spice, coffee and earth. Long finish of chalk, minerals, spice, espresso and earth. Fantastic!
