85 Points

Tuesday, February 11, 2014 - This seems quite youthful, with fresh blackcurrant and plum fruit and some unresolved tannin. The palate is slightly dilute, but overall the wine is pleasant and may develop further.

Don't ask me why but the Chateau considers 2006 as one of the best vintages ever, better than mythic 1998 even.
So a more structured wine is expected and that's why I gonna wait until next 2020 for my only bottle.
    Cheers!

My previous experience with Dauphine was 2000 at 10 years of age and was plain awesome.

Ch. Dauphine was one of those minor properties I really enjoyed in the past.
Usually giving its best when eight years old. Of course, there were exceptions.
I've an only 2005 bottle for this year, giving a chance to this suppossed ultra-structured 2006 until 2020.Will see...
    Cheers!
