Saturday, January 10, 2015 - Lovely wine. Brick red in the glass, initial nose of fruit, floral and tobacco. After about an hour sweet cherry and tobacco flavors with a hint of rose. Tannins still pronounced but compared to last time much more integrated and fruit is showing through. Tannins still there, but not so much in the forefront anymore. Secondary plum like flavors. More "delicate" than last time I drank. Paired very well with prime steak and gnocchi in truffle sauce.
