Thursday, December 28, 2023 - Some reduction and oak on the nose, followed by lots of lemon, a bit of flint, and smoke. Good acidity on the palate with more lemon notes, a hint of vanilla, some peach, and apples. Nice finish. This is a big, broad wine that needs some time for the reduction and oak to integrate. Good quality, but currently marked by winemaking choices (and possibly the vintage). 92-93+
