Tuesday, January 31, 2023 - Don't know what was going on with the last bottle--bad day for me or bad bottle. This was lovely right on opening. Ample, earthy nose. Bright red berry fruits, strong herbs, and tannins all up front and balanced with just enough acid. The herbs are very prominent and exude typicity. A hint of dark chocolate in the finish. This is accessible and tasty now, but does seem to have the components for short term improvement, too.
