Saturday, March 27, 2021 - Very good. This style of wine is very seldom among my choices these days, but Gianfranco Fino's touch is pretty golden, and it worked out well. This is a full-bodied, full-flavored Primitivo that's dry, offers a good sense of place, and somehow pulls off, i.e. balances, the 16,0% abv. This is just beginning its preferred drinking window and should hold at this level for another five+ years quite easily. Slow-ox 6 hours; fun to try, and paired well with Osso Bucco with saffron rice. For the style, it's highly recommended
