Wednesday, May 31, 2023 - Lovely mix of red and black fruits on the nose with blackberry, raspberry, pepper, spice. 16% Alcohol immediately apparent on the nose with slight stinging sensation. On the palate, lovely mouthfeel. Medium tannin. Medium acid. Flavours of garrigue, and raspberry. Medium + finish. The heat is certainly there from the alcohol but I actually made my way through the whole bottle over the course of an evening (albeit having a headache the next morning). There's drinkability despite the weight.
