Monday, June 7, 2021 - Deep garnet with a magenta edge. Nose of raspberry compote, blackberries, garrigue and baking spices. Tangy dark fruit on the plush, full palate which leads into tertiary notes of green olive brine and spice. Tannins are already silky smooth and the fruit carries the 15.5% alcohol surprisingly well (you _almost_ wouldn't notice it). This wine definitely has years ahead of it, but not clear if it will fall out of balance as the fruit fades and tertiary flavors come to the fore. Really excited to try this 5 and 10 years down the road.
