Saturday, January 27, 2024 - Purchased from Total Wine earlier in the day. PnP. Ruby color. It was a bit tight with not much on the nose. Tasted some red fruits with some dried herbs - may even be steamy. GF noticed some black peppery notes. As it got some air and warmed up a bit, the color became darker like a maroon tone. Notes of raspberries and cherries were more noticeable on the nose and palate with the drying finish. Overall, it was a tasty wine. I remember when this wine was under $30.
