Saturday, March 20, 2021 - I feared this was over the hill, but, wow, this is still very good. Speaks well of Rhys! Ripe black cherries and Asian spices. Muscular and ripe on the nose. Palate along the same lines, except that some tertiaries tame and balance the ripeness. Tannins fully integrated. Time to drink up, I think. Impressive QPR and ageability. My score reflects the fact that I paid a mere $30 for this.
