Saturday, June 17, 2023 - About the same as our last bottle. Not seeming overly woody tonight, but it does have that aspect. I'm finding it to be a delicate, even cerebral wine, and maybe that's not a surprise given who created it. It has a sense of delicacy about it, like it wants you to search for hidden clues. The nose is complex, without being obviously complex. The palate is smooth and balanced, with very good length, and again, some complex, but subtle flavours. It really repays attention. Would be lost at a big dinner party.
