Friday, June 4, 2021 - Deep red. On the nose there is a clear sous bois or undergrowth character, with spicy red berries lurking underneath. Relatively austere on the palate, with noticeably grippy tannins. Quite a serious Pinot for sub €20. I suspect this can improve for at least a couple further years, although of course it’s perfectly enjoyable now.
