Monday, December 22, 2014 - Worried that it might be oxidized. Instead, it was a beautifully expressive wine with floral/vegetal/citrus nose. Waxy lemon palate with notes of melon,
quince, orange blossom, baked bread and spice. Some flinty minerality and surprisingly, some tannic grip on the finish especially as the wine warmed in the glass.
Day 2: Vacu-vin'd overnight. Not much change from day 1 although picked up some grapefruit on the palate that was only hinted at the day before and the spice
notes on the finish were a little more developed. Overall an enjoyable and complex white blend. Hopefully will be as lucky with my other bottle.
