Wednesday, June 3, 2015 - Appearance: Bright and clear, it has light brown color, with fading rims and legs.
Nose: Clean, with pronounced intensity aromas of citrus fruit such as orange marmalade, green fruit of quince and ripe pear, dried fruit of fig, dates and raisin, maturity notes of honey and beeswax, stone fruit of apricot, kernel notes of toasted almond. The wine is developing.
Palate: Luscious with high acidity, the wine has low alcohol and full body. It has pronounced intensity flavors of citrus fruit such as orange peel and lemon zest, stone fruit of apricot, dried fruit of fig, raisin and dates, maturity notes of honey, kernel notes of almond. The wine has a long finish.
Conclusion: Exceptional quality Tokaji with a very concentrated nose showing high degree of complexity, this wine exhibits how the best Tokaji can taste, with the super sweetness balancing well with the acidity, making it thick yet pleasant on the palate. The overall texture is oily yet there is finesse on each sip, with equally impressive intense flavors and a very long finish. It is ready to drink now though can still maintain for another 20-30 years.
