Wednesday, November 24, 2021 - Deep gold to amber edges, the nose has intense ripe fruits with banana, nectarine and oak spices.
Certainly showing evolution but not totally gone, the entry has crisp acidity, remarkable intensity to the mid-palate, lovely focus and clarity with a mineral-edged strident note. Nectarine flesh adds richness to the mid-palate, whilst the wine tapers off to a slight fudge note, with wet chalk that keeps it in line and with no almond paste elements. Good length and still pretty smart!
