Now there’s some fruit, more earthy characteristics, some soft but very present tannins and strong vanilla notes, probably from oak. The high alcohol (14.5) is definitely noticeable, but somehow mostly works. This is now in a much better place than it was a couple of years ago, so maybe it just needed more time to come together?
