Sunday, May 16, 2021 - In the interest of trying everything I can get my hands on from Donnhoff I bought a bottle of this, and while I much prefer their various expressions of riesling it is interesting to see what they do with this grape. This is tart and lively and has that classic Donnhoff acidic framework but it doesn’t have the complexity and electricity of riesling. Very nice to sample but probably not something I will buy again.
