Tuesday, March 5, 2013 - Dark colour, with aromas which remind me of Christmas cake. Rich and onctuous in the mouth, with plums, blackcurrants with a dash of spice and sultanas. There is a pleasing freshness mid-palate, but perhaps slightly rustic at this stage. Not at it best yet, it will improve further over the next five years. A little more elegance would have been welcome, but this is stupendous value.
