Thursday, July 14, 2022 - Made the mistake of opening my first bottle on a whim and not allowing time in a decanter. Unfair on the wine, no rating recorded. First taste was raw, acidic with unresolved tannins. The wine settled over time and was more approachable with food. The Barolo elements are there and should come to the fore with time. Will not open my next bottle for another 5 years.
