Tuesday, June 22, 2021 - Ripe yellow fruit (yellow pear, Starfruit) and some light nuttiness (cashew). M- acid, relatively full body. Simple but good quality for $13 and varietally/regionally correct. Maybe a little ripe and low energy for my taste but that’s a line Soave usually walks close to, and I usually like it anyway. Glad I drank this young as it doesn’t feel built to age, but I’ll try the single vineyard bottles with 5+ years.
This was a good pairing with asparagus risotto. Sadly we didn’t have any fresh parsley because this is crying out for that.
