Saturday, June 18, 2022 - At Shunsai, East Brisbane. This wine opened with some cheesy primary ferment characters that blew off with time to reveal a quite closed nose of white peach, lime zest, yuzu and touches of white flowers and baking spice. The palate is quite linear and primary with complex fruit characters and plenty of grip and volume that persists beautifully. Time in the glass gives you a peek behind the curtain to reveal a wine in the infancy of its development.
