Friday, April 14, 2023 - from a tasting sample at the chateau (alongside their 2019 2nd label, relais). dark and brooding, the nose is superb with dark berry, cherries, currants, tobacco, damp earth. palate is juicy and youthful. lots of acidity and tannin. plenty of stuffing here to go the distance so patience will be rewarded.
