Tuesday, December 12, 2023 - The 2019 Latour a Pomerol is a classic in the making. I popped and poured, and was delighted to sip an excellent young wine. The 2019 Bordeaux wines have the makings of a top notch vintage. This is especially true in Pomerol. The wine itself has little tannin and has an abundance of fruit waiting to emerge. Very tempting right now, but you'll need fifteen to twenty years before it reaches its potential. Is it worth $109 a bottle? I'd consider that a bargain.
