A couple nights later it was fine. Nothing special, as others have indicated, and a bit of a disappointment considering the Garagiste hype. But that's the thing - you never quite know when he's full of BS or he's accurately reflecting the wine.

    1/30/2024 10:12:00 AM - Agree with your observations. Took one to a South America tasting a few weeks ago to which someone brought a 2020 (purchased at Costco). The '20 is less ripe and oaky, much more to my taste and probably yours, too.
