Thursday, February 21, 2008 - The colour on this wine was puple / ruby and has a nice clean look to it. The aromas is of fresh strawberries and plums, as well ,there is cherries and banana. It reminds me of Bubble Lusious gum I had when I was younger before you started to chew it. Served it at around 13 degrees and as this wine warmed, it lost some of its sweetness on the nose. Kept the decanter around the serving tempature which helped. The acidity and tannis go together in this wine but has very little finish. Maybe 5 secs. After a few hours, it looses it flavours and becomes hollow on the palate. But the nose remains. Better to have with food. Game, red meat, cheese.
