Wednesday, February 9, 2022 - A grocery store value at $13. Medium bodied, dark fruit, some oily stem bitterness upon opening. A half hour after opening this bitterness began to dissolve and the wine expands nicely into multiple fruit and spice complexity and even a hint of minerality. It benefits from a food pairing of course; went well with spaghetti bolognese.
