Saturday, March 12, 2016 - These Baumard screwtops are showing very well (11 year old white).
This bottle is definitely demonstrating some more youthfulness compared to the 05 from a few months ago. On the nose some musty ricola-like aromatics blend in with wet wool, green tea, and something that reminds me of a creek/brook. On the palate I detect some sweetness (I didn't pick this up from the previous bottle), but much higher acidity (hence the youthfulness). Overall this has a very gorgeous ethereal quality. Major flavors at play are tea, apple, nutmeg, cinnamon, and pear.
