Friday, June 1, 2007 - First night in Mecca (Berns): From Mag. Incredible full pink color with clear red center. Lovely forward lithe spicy red cherry with nice underbrush notes. OMG, lovely round sweet lively red/black cherry - lush and almost thick! Incredibly youthful with a nice round tannic structure remaining on it's long finish. Spactacular right from the decanter, it held up well but lost a bit of its initial spring after 30-40 minutes in glass. My WOTN and one of the best burgs I've been lucky enough to taste.
