Saturday, April 17, 2021 - Vineyard at 4300 ft, aged in French oak, 13.2% alcohol. 95% sangiovese with 5% cabernet. Round and cherry forward with an integrated toast aroma. less tannin than I would suspect but nicely balanced acid and fruit. Pleasantly surprised by this wine, and nice to see some well done domestic sangiovese.
