Wednesday, April 3, 2024 - Pleasantly surprised with this. Killer nose of medicinal cherry, cassis, plum, graphite, a mild vegetal note, and some oak. The palate feels a little muted, but is still nice with less-bright cherry, plum, earth, dark chocolate, oak, and some sweet spices on the finish. Medium tannins and medium- acidity feel a little out of balance, but this is still plenty enjoyable. Will be trying more Owen Roe soon.
