Saturday, October 28, 2023 - This bottle came from a wine shop where it appears to have been stored upright for a few years, and it’s not corked but is slightly barrel-marked. Straightforward Stellenbosch nose, tons of blackberry, nutty wood spice, scorched earth, good acidity. Really good for the price and still has a couple years of upside, assuming ideal storage and preservation.
