Saturday, December 30, 2006 - This has typical Copain intensity and richness, with aromas of cassis, roasted meats, scorched earth, and minerals. The fruit and minerality are almost painfully intense on the palate. It feels heavier than other Copain syrahs, and the fruit is somewhat grapey.
