Sunday, June 26, 2016 - Good cork. Decanted 1/2 hour. Medium/deep garnet core, pale garnet rim. Nose is smoky, minerally, underlying mainly black fruit. Medium bodied, smoky, red and black berry fruit, a touch of savour, tannins still a touch firm but not obtrusive, balanced acidity, very good length finish with a touch of creamy red fruit coming through. Excellent, if not quite with the interest of some previous bottles.
