Friday, October 22, 2021 - Pale, yellow color.

The nose is quite muted and shows fresh cut green pear, yellow apples, fennel seeds and some struck match. But on the palate there is more action going on. Rather intensive flavors and creamy mouthfeel with a high acidity that give a nice cut. More of  ripe and grilled citrus, crunchy apple, gravel dust and just the smallest hint of creamy lees and butterscotch from the fermentationin barrique. Long lingering finish.

A bit anonymous on the nose but shows it's quality on the palate. A couple of years in the cellar will probably make this wine open up more. A perfect match with out Pasta e Ceci. 89+.
