Thursday, June 23, 2011 - 1 Hour decant. Big nose of black fruits, licorice and vanilla. Blackberry and cassis with vanilla and a little bell pepper with a long dark chocolate finish. Tannins still present but drinking very well at this point. 05 is easily my favorite recent vintage in CA.
