Friday, September 3, 2010 - color is a very dark purple. nose is quite clean, pure and lightly floral. taste is big sweet cherries in the RRV style but goes beyond adding deeper impressions of earth and minerality. nice cola/tang on the finish. big yet elegant. not to state the obvious, but pinots from this producer are remarkably consistent.
