93 Points

Monday, September 1, 2014 - Popped at 53 degrees and left in the bottle for about 30 minutes. Then poured. Purple and inky in the glass, with pleasurable scents of plum, blackberry and other dark fruit. Long pronounced dark legs. Smooth jammy tastes of ripe fruit with eathy and cola overtunes, when tasted at 65 to 67 degrees (to my palate and on the basis of my regular drinking of Turley since about 1997, Turley is best when drank slightly chilled). 60 second plus aftertaste. I last tasted this wine about 1 1/2 years ago and it is only getting better. Can't wait to see how it pairs with my burgers and fries.
