Thursday, July 22, 2010 - Popped and poured. Dark ruby red; initially a bit reticent on the nose. After an hour or so the nose
has blossomed with lovely red fruits, raspberry, cherry, and a bit of an herbal note, with some sneaky tannins
on the finish. The finish is intense with a little bit of heat as well as those subtle tannins. Hasn't quite come
together yet and has the structure to last, as do many of the 05 North Coast Pinot Noirs. Will hold my last
bottle for a couple more years.
