Our server reported that he had a difficult time with the cork (which could be true) but I detected no cord in the wine.
The manager came to our table and said that he had no appropriate glass in which to serve our wine as a bus boy had accidently tipped the rack holding many of their glasses. He offered sparkling wine flutes which did not work. Since service was slow, I ran home to get some legitimate glasses. It took a while for the wine to open up but it was enjoyed. I will score it after we drink our last bottle under more controlled circumstances.
