Thursday, August 9, 2012 - Wow in a glass. Big and brooding for a Merlot. Dark expressive cherry fruit, rich black fruits, cola, licorice & lots of spice on the finish with well integrated soft tannins. A bit of heat on the nose and palate at first but well disguised with the oak, expressive fruits, spice and everything nice. It is definitely California! Drink now and enjoy.
