Friday, December 4, 2009 - Really interesting bottle of wine -- would love to get Mike's thoughts on this wine. It had a really interesting spicy, herbaceous, eucalyptus, and coffee nose. I even wanted to say it reminded me of Northern Rhone with some aromas of black olive. However, it was all Zinfandel fruit underneath - brambly, ripe berries... but not jammy in my opinion. One of recent favorites for Zinfandel.
