Sunday, October 10, 2010 - Tasted non blind. Opened and glass decanted briefly before serving. Followed over the next two hours. Dark garnet color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of lavender, potpourri, hints of roasted meat and a mix of dark fruit. Rich flavors of currants, berries, cherries, plums and raspberries. Medium acidity, medium to firm tannins, medium to full bodied. Drink now with some air or hold over the short term, perhaps into the medium term. 91-?
