Saturday, April 3, 2010 - Put some scallops wrapped in bacon in the oven and with Louie Armstong playing and crooning in the background, popped and poured this beautiful bottle. Deep purple color, nose offered red and dark fruits with nuances of meat and licorice. Still tannic, this is a dense drink with flavors of espresso, sour cherry, and chocolate. It got much better after an hour. It rocked on the second day.
