Friday, May 20, 2011 - This wine obviously benefits from bottle age. Earlier, I had wondered if the fruit would outlive the firm tannins. At ten years, a beautiful bottle. Cassis and currant, some leathery earthy notes, tannins still obvious but softened. Nice balanced middle-aged American Bordeaux blend. Well done.
