Wednesday, December 31, 2008 - Pulled the cork at noon and left open, then double decanted at 4 and returned to bottle, and left open to breathe until dinner at 8:00. Notes of fresh herbs, black cherry, raspberry and red currant. Tannins are sweet and unobtrusive, with a good level of acidity. Flavors of currant, anise, spice, red fruit and toast. Long, velvety finish.
