Opened and decanted for 90 minutes. Double decanted back into the bottle and then served after about a total of 6 hours from first decant. Dark garnet to purple color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of potpourri, violets, currants, smoke, a little roasted meat, talc and plums. Rich flavors of plums, berries, raspberries and currants. Medium to bright acidity, medium to firm tannins, full bodied. *Big wine*. Drink now with some air time or continue to hold.
