Saturday, August 7, 2021 - 10.5% alcohol; shipped & imported by Winebow, Inc., New York City; from the Mosel River Valley in Germany and presumably bottled there as well, the importer has correctly converted the decimal comma in 10,5 to a period; under screw cap; fast legs, I can't improve on the Drunken Cyclist, the previous reviewer's 'Pale straw with a golden hue'; also spot on with the gasoline comment 'that seemingly ever-present petrol aspect'; along with its low alcohol content, this is a full bodied wine with a nice balance of tannins, sweetness, fruitiness, and sourness (bitterness is lacking), the fruit flavors going back up the nose to a surprising extent; layering is moderately complex and persists through the medium to long finish; cries out for a pairing with seafood, especially with cold water fish prepared on cedar boards on a gas or charcoal grill
