Saturday, July 25, 2009 - Initially a very nice nose of earth and forest floor and black fruits. It seemed to deteriorate a bit over the next 4 hours. The palate however was great with huge fruit, earth and game. Long finish. Nice wine but the nose detracts. Initially thought a possibly corked, but consensus was that this was not the case and just a bit 'funky' on the nose.
