I don't know why someone would aim to make a superficial wine from a vineyard of such pedigree. Wood is prominent with cedar and redwood, deep blackberry jam with a touch of cherry, good mineral, smoky/dusky, a touch of raisin on the finish. Enjoyable and disappointing at the same time.
