Monday, February 20, 2023 - This wine I had with my meaty Chinese meal was a pleasant surprise. It had a deep ruby hue and aromas of blueberry, blackberry, and spice. On the palate, it was full-bodied and robust, with flavors of dark fruits, black pepper, and earthy undertones. It had a long finish, and it paired nicely with the pork and poultry dishes. Overall, it was an enjoyable and complex wine that had great structure and balance.
